The photo caption on the IHT reads "Government forces arrested protesters."
"Forces the arrested prisoners to do what ??", I idly wondered. Then I shook my head.
This sentence can be interpreted in two ways.
As the past tense of "Government forces arrest protesters." or as the present tense of "Government forced arrested protesters."
Of course, IHT meant the former.
